You can all relax now. I have found the missing remote. Actually, Elise found it. And apparently hid it as well. I was sitting on the couch earlier today and Elise was playing with her big tub of legos by the foot of the couch. She likes to hand the blocks to me one by one while I build a tower with them. As she was handing me the blocks, she leaned over to pull out another one and popped up with the remote in her hand. I got so excited and a huge look of pride came over her face.
So, the remote was missing for a little less than 48 hours in Elise's tub of legos. Jeremy and I had both checked in there, but I guess we didn't look close enough. Now we can get back to watching our HD shows the way they were meant to be seen!

Hello again! I have been completely unmotivated to post for a long time, but hopefully I will be getting back to it on a more regular basis. Things have been pretty boring around here lately, so you haven't missed much while I have been ignoring my blog.
But, right now I would like to share with you the frustration Jeremy and I are experiencing over our lost TV remote. Since Jer is a tech-geek (is that correct, Jer, or is it a tech-nerd or tech-dork?) we have many remotes that control our whole entertainment system. The one we have lost is not our main one for changing channels (thank goodness!) or the one for the DVD player. It is the one that controls the actual TV and lets us put it on the correct input to watch DVD's. But, most important it lets us widen and zoom the picture for HD broadcasts. Without it, we have to watch our HD programs with a pretty small picture. Anyways, it has been missing for just over 24 hours at this point and we have searched EVERYWHERE for it. It is driving us nuts that we can't find it. Elise sometimes likes to put objects in odd places around the house, but we haven't found it in any of her usual hiding spots. We are totally and completely stumped.
So, that is what has been going on in our household. Stay tuned...I will let you all know when and where I find it because I know you will be waiting with bated breath to find out where it turns up.
