Outta town again

So we are heading out once again for another adventure. This weekend our destination is Nashville, TN. We have been to Nashville several times before but never with a child in tow so this should be interesting. Can't take a two year old to the Grand Ole Opry, so that's out. She won't sit contently in her stroller for too long without constant strolling so the Country Music Hall of Fame is out. Shopping is a nightmare with her these days so the Outlet Mall is out. I don't think she will sit quietly through the Jack Daniel's Distillery tour so no side trip to Lynchburg. Not sure what we are going to do, but we will have fun none-the-less!

I'm feelin' the love

Yesterday Elise came home with an adorable Mother's Day card she made at school. On the front, it said "Happy Mother's Day, I love (with a heart) You! The inside of the card had a tracing of her two adorable little hands and was signed "Love, Elise." It was so sweet and made my heart melt - her first Mother's Day gift that she was able to actually participate in making for me. She was so excited to show it to me I almost cried. Her excitement continued and mine subsided as she held up the card enthusiastically and announced, "I give it to Daddy when he gets home!"
