What am I going to do with her?
Just a minute ago, Elise kept doing something that I kept telling her to stop. I looked at her and said, "Do you want to go in the corner?" Her reply was a very pleasant "yeeeessss" in an ascending tone. Then, she turned around and marched herself right to the corner where she is dancing and jumping as I type this.

Hee hee. You have an Amelia. :-)
so the obvious question, what was that something that she wasn't supposed to be doing?
Uh, no, she has an Annaliese. LOL! :)
You laugh... and then you envision what the teenage years will be like! ;o)
Time out most always works for Morgan. We try a progressive discipline plan. 1st we tell her to stop, if she doesn't listen, I explain to her that she will go to her room, if that doesn't work, I take her to her room. If that fails I warn her that she will get a spanking. If it still doesn't work, then I spank. Usually I never have to go that far. If she makes it to her room, she will quit whatever habit I want her to stop doing. I also tell her she is not to come down until she can be good. Unfortunately, she is just at that age where they test you. Always, follow through with whatever you threat. Try taking something she likes away - sometimes that works as well. Good Luck, the toddler years, such joy!!!
