Beautiful Day

It's such a gorgeous day here in Memphis! As of 9:00 this morning, it's only 64 degrees outside and mostly sunny. I have all my windows open and there is a gentle breeze coming through the house. I love it! I love fall! Fall in Memphis usually takes forever to arrive since it's often still in the 80's and 90's until October. But today the high is 78 degrees so we will get to enjoy a small break in the heat until the 90's take over again in a couple days.

What's the weather like today where you live?

blech.

It has rained for 3 days straight over here with highs in the upper 60's/lower 70's. This morning we had a very loud thunderstorm at 4:30am, which I would have loved if it wasn't 4:30AM! Our back yard is completely flooded (because we live on clay - remember?) and the dog has left muddy footprints throughout the entire house (including my used-to-be white-ish carpet).

I actually love this kind of weather. I declare it comfy/jammy day and we all just laze around the house and do nothing... but its gone a little too long, so tonight its out for coffee and ice cream to get out of the house:)

Shut up.

I am actually with Jana too. I like cozy weather. I am so ready for fall. Can't wait to put the girls in their cute little pumpkin tops. :-)

BLAH! Rainy here today too...and Annaliese had a field trip to an apple orchard. Wet, rainy fun...at least the KIDS had fun! We're supposed to get 'summer' weather back for the next few days. I might actually ENJOY it this time around. :)

It sucks here! It has been like a monsoon (sp?) raining like 4 days! On the flip side I got a day off today. Not many golfers in weather like this!

Echo JD...yucky, crappy day. Yes, lazy and comfy, but I miss our daily walks and fresh air!

Funny that Spring used to be my favorite season, but now it's Fall. The colors, the decorations, and the smell of spice get me all excited. I'm ready to see some pretty leaves!
