"Mother of the Year" I am not

A little insight into my day-to-day life as a wife and mother for anyone who cares.

WE never let something like that happen here!!!
Will the real "mother of the year" please stand up?...I've been waiting a long time to meet you and you seem nowhere to be found!
Oh, what's that? You don't exist? Oh, well then I nominate Kim, she's doing a great job!
You forgot to tell everybody that she fell asleep on the really nasty dirty kitchen rug that you wouldn't even take a photo of because all the filth would show up on the picture.
Oh - you left that out on purpose? Sorry;)
Okay, I was just about to ask, "And where's the photo?" but JD took care of that... :)
Heck, if your child can fall asleep ON HER OWN, in the middle of the kitchen floor, I say you ARE mother of the year! I've been doing a circus act these days to get Emma down for her afternoon nap!
Ok, since someone else brought it up- my first thought was : ooh no.. not on the nasty little kitchen rug..
That has never happen here...wink, wink!
Don't worry, Kim. I do that sometimes too. Must be genetic.
Hey, she's napping isn't she? And how do you get her to do it on her own. I think that says it all right there! You're awesome! My boys have a reserve energizer battery that kicks in when they're tired...they just keep going stronger! They would never get their own blankie and lay down to sleep! You're the best mom out there!
